Four Member teams will
participate from each Country Club and Resort that elects to
participate. The Golf Professional from each club or resort will
attend with the members. Local qualifiers at the club level will
determine what team will have the honor of representing their
club at the National Event. Each team participating must meet
total team handicap index requirements of 45.0. Teams will be
comprised of male or female members in good standing with
established USGA verifiable handicaps. The format will be an
elimination scramble with USGA rules governing the event. The
tournament will be played on Courses No. 2, No. 5 and No. 8.
The 4-man team entry fee of $7,500 covers 4-nights double
occupancy, all meals beginning with Wednesday evening dinner and
going through Sunday morning breakfast, four (4) rounds of golf
(1 practice round and 3 tournament rounds), round trip domestic
airfare and round trip ground transportation from the Raleigh
Durham Airport to Pinehurst.
The famed Putter Boy Trophy, attainable only by winning a
national tournament at Pinehurst, will be awarded the winning
team.
